Hi, everybody!

The semester is almost over, do you believe that :)

I am just studying and studying all day and all night long :) But I am happy because I am graduating on May 18th and my mum and friends will be here to celebrate with me.

After the graduation, I am going on a long trip to Bryce Canyon, Zion, Arches, the Horse Shoe, Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon, Disneyland, LA, and Universal Studio :) It took me 3 days only to make the reservations :)

Final projects

I cannot believe that we have only three weeks left and just another quiz. I am kind of scared for the Excel quiz-all that weighted average thing just showed for another time that I am not really into Maths :) Despite this, I was able to follow the concept after I had read the example with Friends.
I am already counting the days until my mum comes to visit. Have great plans and hope that we will have enough time to fulfill them all.

This week gave me a lot of chances to contemplate over different things... it turned out that all the pain that I had was due to a twisted muscle. I was happy that it was not a kidney infection, but at the same time I was scared how a small muscle can cause so much pain...I was prescribed strong medicine and my friends were joking with me that I can sell them and make some money :(
The funny part was when the doctor asked me if I was pregnant because these were the sypmtoms. This scared me even more-if it is that painful to be pregnant, I am never having kids :)
In addition, the side effects are being grumpy and tired...just on time for the final month :))))
Too much complaining, it is better to stop :)

Hi, everybody :) I really enjoyed the PowerPoint presentations yesterday; this was one of the most interesting assignments so far.
I went to the Clark County Fair today; it was cool, a little bit of fresh air and different emotions. Unfortunately, I could barely walk-some kind of a kidney infection, I guess. Hopefully it will go away soon, it has been painful for a whole week already :)

Already in April

I was so happy today-after spending the whole Friday in efforts to get the Access projects done, I felt really miserable an stupid because I did not get anything; but in class, with the help of Mr. Wu, everything seemed a lot easier :) Now I am trying to come with something interesting to present in my PowerPoint presentation...so far, I have realized that my life has become really boring, which is sad. Will see what will come to my mind when I wake up in the morning :)

Saturday again

Hi, everybody! I am really sorry that I was not able to see your presentations today, I hope to be able to see them all when you post them on-line.
I had a crazy day; had to run to a seminar and then had to run to my second class... I am looking forward to sleeping late tomorrow :)

Spring Break

This Spring Break was a long one; it seems like I haven't had classes forever. I spent most of my time sleeping because I really needed some rest. At the same time, I made great plans for my Summer vacation and the weeks when my mum will be here- can't wait for this time to come :) See you everybody on Saturday and I am so eager to see your PowerPoint projects!

Happy to be back

Hi, everybody!

After few days without Internet, I am back to normal life :) It was crazy- I was not able to check my E-mail, to go on Facebook, even to talk with my parents. To be honest, it stressed me out a lot!

I am happy because I am done with all my 5 mid-terms. It was a busy, insane week. Today I went shopping with a friend of mine and it helped me release the tension.

Now I am really, really looking forward to seeing my mum in May :)

One More Saturday

Hi, everybody! Can you believe that we are in the middle of the semester- the coming week we have all the midterms. I really wish I could fall asleep and wake up the next Saturday night (having in mind all these 5 midterms that I have to pass :)
I liked a lot the Resume and Cover Letter assignments; I believe my resume has never looked that well and this gives me courage to apply for jobs now.

Saturday again

We had a really interesting class today- discussing our resumes. It was kind of nice how everybody shared with the class her or his professional achievements, our dreams for a future career, and our plans. Mr. Wu tried to pay individual attention to everybody in the class, which, in my opinion, will help a lot- having in mind how different we all are.
The only thing that I am unhappy about today's class is that I did not do well on Quiz 3; I believe I messed up at least few of the answers. Probably my brain needs some rest- I hope it will work better next time, considering the fact how much chocolate I ate this afternoon... I really hope that chocolate improves the brain functions, as they say :)

Another Saturday

I cannot believe that our fifth week at school is over- time goes by so fast... On the one hand, I am excited because my mum is coming to visit in May, so I am looking forward to this time; on the other hand, it makes me feel a little bit sad.

It was a tiring day today- had two quizzes and ended up with a headache :) My thoughts were obsessed by IS terms and Contract definitions... in the end of the day, I just wanted to go to bed and take a long nap. Instead, I enjoy blogging, watching "Law and Order" meanwhile.

To be honest with you, I have never done "blogging"! I have always enjoyed reading the comments of other people that they post on-line, but I guess I have never been brave enough to create my own blog. I believe that this is going to be a fun assignment; not only to learn new things, but also to get to know each other better.

So far, my IS 101 class is going great! Every time I discover something new about technology that I have never imagined that could exist! For example, the last week I learnt ("learnt" is British English, I know that here you write it "learned" :)... how to put my taskbar on the right side of the desktop!!!

Today I was able to create my first 3d movie- about a turkey that celebrates Valentine's day! I really enjoyed that one :)
